At this level we work from the ground up,
building a solid foundation. My goals are to make you feel comfortable working around horses, boost your confidence, and to keep
of your horse or pony at all times. Horseback riding done right looks so easy but...as you will soon find out, there's more to it than meets the eye!
It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you first start out, but if you are patient with yourself, go at your own pace, keep it fun and
you will be well on your way towards becoming a full fledged fantastic rider !

The Intermediate
This class if for those with previous riding experience. If you can walk, trot, and canter a horse comfortably and have a "feel" for riding, then you
will be in the intermediate class.
First we'll get back to the basics to make sure everyone has a good solid foundation. We will work towards
connecting
your riding. Connecting
is finding the ideal natural balance for maximum strength and efficiency. A connected rider can get the most out of a horse with the least amount
of effort. Jumping will be introduced as soon as you are strong and secure in your riding. You haven't lived until you've jumped a horse ! All work
over fences closely relates to our work on the flat as the same principles are in practice. We'll start with poles on the ground and work up to
cross-rails and gymnastics. We will work on different exercies through gymnastics that are designed to help you stay relaxed as you build
confidence and learn the dynamics of jumping.

The Old Pro
This class is for you
 "been around the block"
ers. Those of you who have had hunt-seat and jumping lessons. All instructors have their own way of
teaching the art of riding. If you have been taught by a few different instructors you know it can get a little confusing when each one wants you to do it
their way. I have my own

together with what I have to teach and use it all to its best for yourself. We will get into some grueling flat work sessions to remove any rust and get you
centered and strong. We will put basic dressage principles to work to get your horse balanced. Then the fun part
-
We'll get the kinks out first through gymnastics, then on to lines, turns, angles, hunter type courses and jumper type courses.
